Infinite water sports possibilities in Dalmatia

The luxury villas of Bright Side of Croatia are located amidst a group of larger islands in Central Dalmatia (Brač, Solta, Hvar) and the Kornati archipelago (a collective of hundreds of small islands). The boating possibilities from Primošten (Marina Kremik) and Rogoznica (Marina Frappa) are therefore virtually limitless. Island hopping, anchoring in small bays in absolute privacy, snorkelling, wakeboarding, the water sports enthusiast can get their money's worth in Dalmatia. Bright Side will gladly advise you on the numerous boat rental possibilities in Dalmatia, from sailboats, catamarans and RIBs to console boats.

National Park Krka and its waterfalls

An absolute highlight is sailing up the Krka River starting at sea and ending at the beginning of the Krka National Park, near the picturesque village of Skradin. Enjoy a lovely day trip in a fjord-like landscape. Tip: In the morning, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at a coffee shop on one of the islands, followed by lunch by the river at Tavern Vidrovača for an authentic island-hopping experience.

Did you know that the 111m2 Krka National Park is the seventh-largest park in Croatia? It is known for its rich flora & fauna. And naturally, a visit to the breath-taking Krka waterfalls near Split and Sibenik cannot be missed.

Kornati National Park (Kornati Archipelago)

Dalmatia has more beautiful National Parks, such as Kornati (also known as Kornati Archipelago). It consists of nearly 100 islands and limestone rocks and cliffs that are primarily uninhabited (by humans).

An excursion to the Kornati islands in a private boat is, of course, one of the possibilities. Nevertheless, there are also plenty of excursion providers in, for example, Sibenik, Murter and Zadar. Snorkelling in these areas is a delight for your senses; the water is crystal clear and clean. Experience the overwhelming abundance of fish and other marine life. All of this and more makes Kornati National Park a must-visit destination in Croatia!

Other places of interest in Dalmatia

Those mentioned above are just a selection of the many sights and boating activities Dalmatia offers. Need more tips? We have listed them in brief below:

  • Blue Lagoon

Do you enjoy swimming and snorkelling? The Blue Lagoon near Šolta and Čiovo is an absolute must. This sun-kissed, clear lagoon between the two islands is teeming with marine life.

  • Pakleni Islands near Hvar

  • The Island of Solta near Split

Another Eldorado in Dalmatia: The Island of Solta, near Split. The emphasis here, too, lies on beautiful nature, historical culture and secluded beaches and bays.
